Hider — Image Scrambler (“the Application”) is a desktop application that processes image files on your device. This Privacy Policy explains whether personal data are processed in connection with the Application and how they are handled.

2. Data collected

The Application does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide personal profile information.

While the Application is running:

  • Image files you choose are processed only on your device for encryption or decryption operations you initiate.
  • Your password is used only in memory during processing; it is not saved by the Application, not sent to any server, and not shared with third parties.
  • The Application does not track image content or passwords for analytics, advertising, or marketing.

3. Internet and third parties

The Application’s core functions work offline; no internet connection is required to process images.

If you use links from the “About” section, your browser may open the Hidroteknik website. That visit is governed by that site’s own privacy policy.

4. Storage and transfers

Processed images are written only to locations you choose and when you confirm actions such as overwrite.

Hidroteknik does not remotely access your image files, passwords, or other files on your device via the Application and does not store such data on its servers.

5. Children

The Application does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Parents or guardians are responsible for use of the Application on children’s devices.

6. Your rights (KVKK)

For users residing in Turkey, rights under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (such as learning whether personal data are processed, correction, deletion, objection, and related requests) apply as provided by applicable law. Because the Application does not transmit personal data to Hidroteknik for its core functions, you may still contact us at info@hidroteknik.com.tr for requests.

This policy may be updated. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page.
